Days off look different to different people

Kay was out of town from early this morning until mid-evening. So I spent the entire day with our son. It was wonderfully fun, and besides tracking traffic to the site I didn’t do a single solitary thing for CG today.

I actually don’t remember the last time I did NOTHING CG-related for an entire day. It’s an absurdly demanding job, so “down time” usually means reading, or emailing, or whatever else I can fit in. There were things I probably should have been doing, but y’know what? I don’t care. I had an awesome day, and it’s nothing I can’t make up.

Speaking of, tomorrow will be a blur of emailing, contracts, and editing. Kay will be finishing the transcription and editing of an interview. And at some point we’ll fit in a conversation about some future content.

ETA: I never mentioned that a few days ago we got the final version of the Issue 8 cover. Absolutely incredible! Can’t wait to see it in print!
