All editing for Issue 11 is done. We’re still waiting to hear back from a few writers, but the toughest part is finished. Phew!

We also got an updated version of the cover art. We’d thought it was finished, but the artist apparently gave us that copy because the deadline had arrived. And it was good! But he decided he wanted to add to it, and we LOVE the new version. So I spent some time today deleting all the old ones, and redoing the various covers with the new art. I really do think it’s a big improvement.

Speaking of cover art, we saw a more updated work-in-progress of the Issue 12 cover! It’s still rough, as the artist is still getting shapes and proportions right before fixing everything, but oh my ghod it is beautiful. I think I’m more impatient to see this one finished than any cover yet.

If you contacted Crossed Genres in the past few days and haven’t heard back, please be patient – we’ve been swamped and are a little behind on our email. I’m going to feverishly try to get caught up tomorrow. We’ll see how that goes…
