Many’s the time I’ve been mistaken
Mar 18th, 2010 | By Bart Leib | Category: CG BlogThere was a bit of interest in my answering some questions via Formspring, so I set up an account. Ask whatever about CG, Little Death, Science in My Fiction, etc. Also, if you have questions about starting a zine from scratch (and the various insanity involved in keeping it going, expanding to new projects, etc) like we did, feel free. Questions can be anonymous too! Nifty.
We still need EASTERN SUBMISSIONS! We’ve gotten some submissions that match the genre now, but we’re still looking at the lowest submission rate we’ve had in almost a year. Please send in your submissions!
I’ve got most of the digital editions of Issue 17 finished. I still need to do the PDF – it’s a bit different so it has to be done separately. And I spent some time today working on the online stuff… it’s not finished but I made some good progress.
This weekend Kay and I will be attending Vericon! It’s our third Vericon and we expect to have a blast. If you come to the con and mention you read about the con here in our blog, we just might dig out a free copy of Crossed Genres Year One for you!
Also, this Sunday we’ll be making our super-awesome announcement that I’ve been hinting at for months now. Yay! It almost seems unreal that something we’ve been planning for so long is finally coming to fruition. I will give another (useless) hint: today, I spent some time in downtown Boston hunting for test tubes. It was one of the strangest things I’ve ever had to hunt for, and was not made easy by the fact that I was in the legal district. However, I was successful.
