Moire patterns are a pain in the a**

(Spent part of this evening sizing/lettering the cover art for Issue 7. This post’s title refers to an artist technique which I had to remove from the cover art before proceeding. Hate it so much. With fire.)

This morning I sorted out the Project Wonderful ads on the site. For those who don’t know, Project Wonderful is a brilliant online advertising system; advertisers can place bids for single-day ads on specific sites, and each day the highest bidder wins! Since Crossed Genres just joined, you could have an ad on our site for literally a couple pennies a day, with no long-term commitment! go here to check it out!

I’ve also been familiarizing myself with Google Analytics, a tracking software that integrates easily with WordPress. I had been using Statcounter, but the ease of the Google system’s integration was too good to pass up. It’s a pretty neat system, although there are some bells and whistles I could do without.

A few folks have signed up for accounts on the new site; hopefully this means that they’ll leave some comments here or there. As for the rest of you: I’m going to keep mentioning it until more of you start commenting!
