Or which one was what one or what one was who

Wednesday is the LAST DAY to get us your Eastern submissions! We’re currently sitting on the fewest subs we’ve had since last June. Yikes! More please!

Wednesday is also the LAST day to read the Humor issue! Some great stories and a terrific article by Piers Anthony on writing Humor! Go read it and/or buy it while you still can!

Issue 17 is pretty much wrapped up. I meant to finish the PDF today, but realized I didn’t properly size the cover art. D’oh. So I’ll do that tonight and finish it tomorrow. The new issue (ANTIHERO) goes live on Thursday!

Thursday is also the day we begin accepting entries to the Science in My Fiction contest! All over we’re seeing boisterous posts by excited writers – almost every one of which mentions the research they’re doing or the story they’ve started writing. Going to be a kicking contest!

Speaking of kicking: If you want to read the contest winners and aren’t a subscriber, go pledge at least $4 to the contest Kickstarter drive. We’re raising funds to put the contest winners in print; we’re already over one-third of the way there! Only subscribers or people who pledge to the kickstarter drive will get to read the contest winners! There are great rewards for pledging, like cheap CG subscriptions, signed print copies of the contest winners, and even a cartoon drawing of YOU, drawn by my co-editor Kay, printed in the print edition of the contest winners! The rewards which enable you to read the contest winners start as low as $4. The pledge drive only lasts until May 31, so go watch our silly video about the contest, and pledge today!

There’s some talk about the Outer Alliance possibly having a dealer table and/or group reading at Dragoncon in September! If so, Kay and I will do our damnedest to be there!
