She took me to her castle

It’s been an amusing day. Kay has been glued to her new Cintiq tablet practically since we woke up. If you missed the post about the miraculous circumstances that ended with Kay getting the table, read here.

Today we were trying (halfheartedly) to aim ourselves back to our routine, since we have to return to our day jobs tomorrow. So not a lot of CG work got done. I did sort through all the submissions we got since we were away, and got my spreadsheets caught up. I also contacted some – but not all – of the people we met at WorldCon, some of whom will/may be future contributors to CG.

Some of the people I emailed were people who’d requested this:

Geek Swears

I made this shirt a couple of years ago, and I’ve worn it at the past two WorldCons. Each year people laugh and express appreciation for it, but this year several people actually gave me their contact info just so I could tell them where they could buy it. It’s now available for $14. If enough people are interested, I may make it available on other items, and maybe even start taking them to conventions.

Tomorrow: editing like mad. If I have time I’ll get started on the detailed WorldCon posts.
