About the Artists
Lisa Grabenstetter was raised by trees. As a youngster, she had great hopes of becoming a Paleontologist. Though her love of dinosaurs persists, she has determined she can better contribute to science by drawing attention to those creatures that nobody else seems to see. She currently lives, works, and illustrates in the DC metro area.
More of her work can be found at http://magneticcrow.com.
Evan Jensen spends a lot of the day drawing at cafes or hunched over his drafting table, illustrating the fantastic and forgotten. He spends the rest of his time being a graphic designer and deciding whether to have coffee or tea in the morning. Hidden under his left pinky fingernail is the text of the Archimedes Palimpsest in its entirety. While at the Corcoran College of Art & Design, once upon a summer he undertook study of certain elusive printmaking and painting techniques on the Grecian island of Skopelos. Some of this is absolute fact, and some complete or partial fiction. His work is online at fathomlessbox.com.
